Hello there! I'm NotRebecca...
It's a pleasure to meet you- I'm so thrilled that you're taking time to peek into my wonderful little world!
If you want to find out more about me, then keep scrolling. Otherwise, click on the link at the top to head to the blog itself, or the links to the left hand side to explore a bit further.
As I said before, I'm NotRebecca. I'm a loud, colourful student based in the south-west of England. I started this blog in the summer of 2012, mainly because my friend had one and I thought it sounded interesting. Flash-forward and I'm still here, proud to call myself a blogger.
At the moment, most of my time is spent studying- I'm currently in Year 14, taking A2 Law and A2 Sociology. My educational journey at the moment is slightly out of the ordinary- more on this can be found by clicking on the 'Year 14' link! In the future, I hope to go to university, probably to study Sociology and Law (although this changes regularly). I'm hoping to eventually work in campaigning/activism/human rights.
In my free time, my favourite thing to do is to spend time with friends and family. I love being surrounded by people, and am always keen to meet new people, and to add them to the wonderful cast of beings I get to share this whole life thing with. I also spend as much time as possible reading and writing (and blogging, obviously!). My dream is to become a published author, and I'm rarely seen without a notebook. In addition, I love travelling, exploring the city I live in, and being creative- my adventures with all three of these are documented here!
Lastly, to kinda sum myself up in three short facts:
1- If you were to ask anyone who knows me for facts about me, they'd probably tell you three things: firstly, that I change my hair a lot- at one point, I was dyeing it every week, and I've even managed rainbow hair. At the moment it's very short (purely because I acted on impulse)- I'm looking forwards to the dyeing possibilities shorter hair will bring!
2-I'm opinionated. Like, hella opinionated, and always ready to argue. I have strong views, and I fight for what I believe in. This can relate to any area where I feel compelled to say or do something. However, my three main 'campaign' areas relate to feminism, LGBT issues and mental health discrimination.
3- I'm colourful, loud and unique, in pretty much everything I say and do. Interpret those three as you will
