Yeah, I've been slacking on this a little... I have been so unbelieveably busy over the past few days!!
If I'd answered this on the day I was meant to, it would have been a tie between Christmas and New Year. I love Christmas because it's a time of love and hope, and I spend a lot of time with my extended family, and- I don't know, people just feel so much nicer at Christmas. I like using it as a time to reflect, as seen here in 2012 and again in 2013! I also love New Year- partly because I love fireworks, and New Year is full of those, and again because it has a sense of hope and new beginnings, and there's yet more reflection (again, 2012 and 2013). I think I get quite spiritual in a way about both of those celebrations, and I see them as being really meaningful. My attitudes towards Christmas are one of the reasons I don't think I'm quite atheist.
However, yesterday I went to Pride for the first time ever. It was absolutely amazing- it was filled with lovely people, and it was so so good to be somewhere where LGBT etc. weren't just being accepted, but were the norm and were being celebrated. So now Christmas, New Year and Pride are all up there!!
