Being Open Minded

Today, before looking for the Song Challenge link, I realised that I had some unfinished business on Youtube...

A few days ago, I discovered a song called 'I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You'- the version I found was a cover by Kate Nash. I instantly fell in love it- it's a really lovely song, with a nice LGBT message.
However, I decided that I needed to give credit where due and listen to the original, by Black Kids. The original's okay, I prefer the Kate Nash version though.
Then, on the bar at the side, I saw that Glee had covered it. From past experience, Glee covers tend to turn good songs into commercial sh*t. Still, I hoped that this would be different, and listened to it with an open mind.
Sorry, Glee, but once again you've failed to impress me! Kate Nash proved that this song is amazing as a very simple acoustic; you proved that even the nicest of songs can be ruined by the addition of trash.
Here are the links to all three, if you're interested!!
