CAMHS

Had my first 'proper' CAMHS (Children and Adult Mental Health Services) meeting today!
Was very, very nervous, particularly about whether or not I'd get on with the therapist (it was someone different to my original assessor). However, stupid as it sounds, I was less nervous than I would have been, purely because I liked her name. Silly reason to be less nervous about meeting someone; but I'm an author and a people-person. I live on names!
Anyway, I was pleased with how it went; I've got another appointment next week, then they'll be fortnightly. Hopefully it'll help me to be more positive and cope a bit better. Crossed fingers!
