So I've finally got around to posting some Christmas music! Here's a selection of my favourites- some of the famous stuff, a few less so and a couple of my favourite Christmas carols/hymns.
Christmas Lights- Coldplay
This is probably one of my favourite Christmas songs ever. It's so pretty! Plus it's about Christmas lights (obviously) which are great, and could also be applied to city lights, I guess, which happen to be one of my favourite views ever.
Let It Snow- Michael Buble
I'm hoping for snow this year!!
Calypso Carol
We used to sing this song at my primary school :)
Baby It's Cold Outside- Zooey Deschanel and Leon Redbone
Used in one of the best Christmas movies ever- the female singer in this is the lead actress from the same film :)
When The Thames Froze- Smith And Burrows
GG, my music teacher, introduced us to this song at the beginning of December. I really really like it! It's fairly beautiful :)
Come And Join The Celebration
Another throw-back to primary school. Although I'm not particularly religious, I think the true message of Christmas is often forgotten, which is why carols/hymns are nice- they remind us of what we're really celebrating.
Shake Up Christmas- Train
I can't listen to this and not feel happy. I think it's impossible.
Fairytale Of New York- The Pogues And Kirsty Maccoll
BTEC Music covered this last year ^.^
Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)- Michael Buble
Another Buble cover. Because I love his voice. Plus this song is sweet. It was covered at this year's school music concert really effectively as well! :)
On A Starry Night
Another carol, another primary school memory.
Feliz Navidad
For me, this song needs no explaining. It's just full of memories.
