Number 19: Volksmusik

Volksmusik (German for 'people's music') is the term given to traditional music from the Alpine regions of not just Germany but also Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia and South Tyrol. It has a basis on dialect and uses lifestyles/traditions.
The style uses a range of instruments including alpenhorns, hackbretts and zithers.Though harmonized singing is utilised, yodeling also appears frequently.
