Oh :(

This was published just before I went to Gambia, but I've only just found it, and it's painful to read :( There are so many things wrong with it, and I disagree with all he says. But mainly, more than being generally indignant, it just makes me feel sorry for the people who live there. We met so many people during our stay, there is a very high chance that this will mean at least one (but probably more) are never allowed to be open about who they are. And that is a heart-breaking thing.
