13th July: Theme Song To My Life

This one changes quite a bit, depending on how I'm feeling. I guess at the moment it would be Slide (by the Goo Goo Dolls), which BB and I performed at the last school concert. I'm not going to say too much, just that the meaning on SongMeanings is definitely not the meaning I get from it. It's one of those songs where I can relate to 99% without really trying, and there are certain lines that just say absolutely everything I want to say (and also it's where the line 'what you feel is what you are and what you are is beautiful' comes from, and that line is perfection). Interestingly, the general consensus was that the performance was my most emotional, and the music teachers worked out that there was meaning behind it all.
Anyway, that's the current one. But in general terms of a theme song for my life I would go for Run, by Amy Macdonald.
