23rd July: 5 Pictures To Sum Up Your Day

When I created this, my intention was for the five pictures to be from anywhere- drawn, from the internet, whatever, so long as they summed up my day. However, having been out with the wombbuds today, my five pictures actually all come directly from my day! In traditional wombie style, we started out by getting meal deals from Boots, then Kinder Eggs from Entertainer- how could we not?! We had the Kinder Eggs sitting by the side of a road 'cause we were worried they were going to melt, then walked up to Arnos Vale Cemetery. We spent around two hours there, wandering around, looking at the graves and chatting. Sounds a bit morbid- it was actually really peaceful and calming! Lunch was eaten on a quiet bench, which was also very peaceful.
Ergo, picture number one is of some art (it looks like graffiti, but I think it must have been commissioned) on an old building in the cemetery- pretty powerful statement there!
After that, we walked back to Temple Meads, and caught the ferry to the centre. It's the first time I've been one of those ferries (or the first time I can remember, my mum corrected). I was really surprised at how reasonable the prices were, and it was great to see Bristol from a different perspective. I'm a huge huge Bristol lover, and I love exploring the city in all manner!
Picture number two is a picture of one of my favourite views, of Pero's Bridge and the boats. I have taken this picture from various perspectives; however, this is the first one I've got from in the water!
Of course, it wouldn't be a wombbud meet up without a trip to Cupp! Feeling the heat, I went for a large bubble tea; I also branched out, and got fruit tea, instead of milk. Somehow, my order ended up with pobbles instead of tapioca pearls, too- I took it back and ended up with both!
The three of us have had bubble tea four times now, and it's definitely become our thing- so picture number three had to be our drinks ;)
We walked back to the harbour with our drinks, and sat down under the shade of a tree. I've been in town a lot recently, and the harbour is more than definitely my favourite place to spend any down-time, especially in this weather. It's full of life, and I love to sit and chill there with my feet dangled over the edge, plus it's just really really beautiful. The words can't explain my love for it, basically!
So, there you have picture number four, of me sat in pure happiness! ;)
We decided in the morning that we all wanted to go and buy a small Yankee Candle each. On the way, we stopped and splashed around in the fountains. Being the big kid, I think I enjoyed it most- there was lots of running and splashing and giggling! After that, we headed over to Yankee Candle to get our candles- I got one called 'A Child's Wish' which I read about online beforehand. It smells lush, and I can't wait to have it burning in my room!
We all got pictures of us jumping, which I think are pretty cool- check out BKP's amazing iPhone photography on picture number five!
So there you go! My day, in five pictures! (Also, we managed to check off three things on our list, so that's pretty fab!!)
