Ahh, all the things! People, a lot of the time- both those I know, and those I don't know. I love to people-watch, and that often inspires bits and bobs. The people I actually come into contact with frequently end up in things I've written, in one way or another. I'm also really inspired by atmosphere and being surrounded by people and activity! Umm... Beautiful writing by others really inspires me- any collection of words that has that indescribable beauty/right-ness normally ends up being scribbled down somewhere! Similarly, I'm inspired by music- I listen to a lot of music, and note down songs that describe things I'm writing about, or songs where the lyrics are just generally beautiful. Finally, events, as in happenings. This includes stuff that happens to me (a lot of the stuff I write has auto-biographical elements; those elements may be really tiny, but they'll be there) and also stuff that happens to others, such as things I read about in the newspaper.
