Last weekend, the annual Bristol Harbour Festival rolled into town! I blogged about this last year (when it tipped down), and the year before (alongside 2012 pictures and a second 2012 post), and I was really looking forward to going again for 2014. Unfortunately, the swim teaching course and the weather and other commitments meant that I couldn't go for the Saturday (the main day), and I was only able to go for a little on the Sunday, by myself and with no money. However, it was still a nice experience- I didn't have any headphones or people to talk to, so I got to enjoy the atmosphere and people-watch without distraction, which was really nice. I absolutely love the Harbour Festival to pieces because it's full of people and atmosphere and a general community-feel; also, the harbour in general has been one of my favourite places to be recently. It was a really good way to have some 'me time' and also be inspired and soak up a bit of life. I'm definitely looking forward to doing more there next year, but for a change, it was good!!
