Heat!!

Supposedly Brizzle's currently hotter than Australia. I can believe it. The heat fluctuates between amazing and unbearable, depending on different factors.
Earlier, whilst cycling into town in the glorious sunshine? Lovely. Brilliant for picnicking as well.
However, everyone's irritable, so more arguments. And the main reason I'm writing this at this time- no sleep!! Far too hot to feel tired. Unfortunately, also far too hot to write poetry (it's past midnight- 4 days until the poetry competition closes, and two out of 6-8 poems to enter. Panicking a little).
Send the weather back to Australia. They are built for it. We're not; I wouldn't be surprised if Bristolians evolved over the next couple of centuries to have inbuilt coats, based on the usual weather!
However, another thing- we always moan about the rain. Now, we moan about the sun. Bristolians aren't a happy lot.
