The world can be split up in many many ways- one of these ways is by using the word NO.
There are two general reactions to the adversity (such as the word no). One reaction is to accept it and do something else; the other is to take it as a challenge. I am one of the people who takes it as a challenge. Example?
Earlier this year, we were studying the poem 'Hunchback In The Park' (Dylan Thomas) in English- so we had to analyse it thoroughly. I said that it reminded me of Peter Pan and the life of J.M.Barrie; however, my teacher- who is normally lovely- thought I was being silly and told me I was wrong. Bad idea. I spent the rest of the lesson backing my idea up- yet he still refused to accept my point.
A few weeks later, I presented him with a three page essay that detailed my comparison. This is why it's a very bad idea to say NO to me. It just makes me argue.
However, in this case, it did change my teacher's mind (or so he says; that might've been to shut me up). I'm posting the essay anyway- see what you think!
