Oh, those lovely people who, no matter what you do, will always find something to lecture you about...
With four months to Gambia, fund-raising has begun in earnest. Recently I've given up a heck of a load of time for fund-raising in the form of car washing; I'm at a point where I'm stressed and exhausted just because I've got so much on. Something largely to do with the time given up for fund-raising.
Despite this, the trip leader- AW- still lectured me for about five minutes today. Why? Because we're doing a 7 hour bag pack on Saturday, and I have to miss three-quarters of an hour maximum for a piano lesson. With a Grade 5 exam in three weeks, I really can't afford to miss any lessons.
However, apparently this isn't acceptable. Hence the lecture. And my bad mood.
I've put in a load of work on fund-raising already, it's not like I'm even missing a whole hour- plus there are at least 12 people doing the bag packing. I've been preparing for this exam for ages and I'm already really nervous. Thankfully I've been given the (short amount of) time off, but still. There's just no pleasing some people! :@
