Getting Into This!

I'm enjoying this character sketching business...
This time, I asked someone to suggest five people, and I've picked three out of the names I was given.

Number One
He flits around from group to group, smile wide on his face, spreading happiness everywhere he goes. Friend of the world, he gets on with everyone, talking to even the grumpiest of people. It seems that he's constantly dancing, joking, grinning; he can't keep still- as soon as he settles, he's off again, generally forgetting to say goodbye. He's slowed down a little recently, spending more time with us. It's all a part of growing up, I guess.
He thinks it's too obvious when he's upset, though it's not. Not really. When I notice something's up, however, it gets to me. It's hard seeing someone so happy and so important upset; I just want to hug him, and make everything alright. I can't believe anyone could hurt him- which makes me bristle to the one who has, even so unintentionally.

Number Two
There's a certain amount of bluster in all that he does. It's as if he hasn't got total confidence- odd, considering the experience he's sure to present us with if questioned. They all do that. Even with the bluster, however, his confidence is to be admires. Despite the comments and attitudes, he continues as if all is normal. Or is it confidence? It could just be innocence. It's sweet, in a weird way-he definitely doesn't notice all that he says. He's so detached from us all, so far away, even as he pretends he's not.

Number Three
Like an amicable sentry, he stands in the corridor, ready to interact. With a huge smile, he gives a serious answer to even the most unusual questions, claiming that it's what makes it all so worthwhile. He's ready to get involved; no person is too insignificant- or, more importantly, too weird. He's keen to listen, accepting of stickers and all. Important lessons are taught, out there.
