Got home from school today feeling pretty crap... A combination of stress (mock exams, coursework, car washing, the list goes on) and tiredness I think.
However it inspired me to come up with a new 'coping strategy'- WW(Blank)S. it's based on something we learnt in RE (or RP if you're picky) a couple of years ago; in that case, it was WWJD (What Would Jesus Do).
My version, however, stands for What Would (Blank) Say, where '(Blank)' can be substituted for pretty much anyone ever who gives good advice.
The aim is to think about the problem, then imagine someone else giving you advice; in my case, I knew the advice given would be to relax a bit and rationalise. Which I did, and I'm feeling- if not great- then a little better. I like WW(Blank)S, think I'm going to use it a lot more :)
