Today was a good day!!
Spent the first four periods doing Textiles- everyone very stressed due to the hand-in scheduled for 4pm sharp! I thought I didn't have much to do, but the evaluation (my final section) took much longer than expected. Thankfully, my RE teacher (eventually!!) agreed to let us spend his double lesson in Tech- and, as the bell went for the end of that double, I handed in my Textiles coursework. Doesn't sound like much, but it was a big moment- I've spent the last six months working on this, and, if I say so myself, I feel that I've put loads of effort in; at times it's occupied every spare moment! Therefore, it was a *big* thing to hand it in. I know I've put a couple of pics up before, but there are some more below :)
Spent my free 'no Maths' period doing absolutely nothing, which was a bit of a relief after such a busy morning- though, of course, not really what I was meant to be doing. Ah well.
Lunch was hilarious; IG, BB and I were all in very good moods, which resulted in 'burlesque dancing', waving at random people and really annoying CC (music teacher). To get rid of us, he gave us the challenge of finding him a surreal birthday present. At the end of the day we presented him with a polystyrene cup, signed by a Biology teacher he barely knows, with a chunk bitten out by the aforementioned Blodge teacher. It was agreed that this was perfectly surreal.
Umm, during Chemistry we were meant to do coursework, but the people on our table spent most of our time yelling at the really annoying boy who sits with us, an who spent a lot of time trying to distract us.
Also during Chemistry I spoke to my Learning Co-Ordinator about general stuff, which was good and made me feel a bit happier.
The term was finished off with a mad tutor time! It was technically our last 'normal last day' as well as our last non school uniform day. Sad times!
After school I finally convinced myself to text someone I had an argument with- we've not been speaking since last week, though we're normally very close. Thankfully all is resolved, and we've agreed that the argument was almost for the best, as we've sorted out a few other issues etc. It's always nice to sort out something that's been upsetting you :)
So yeah, good day! And now two weeks of no school: daunting, but I'm determined to make the best of it :)
