Flashback Friday: The Big Family Holiday

Sorry, slightly delayed!
This time last year, I went away with my family for a week. From Monday-Friday there were nine people and one dog in two caravans; then, at the weekend, pandemonium broke loose as we had to fit fifteen people and five dogs into three caravans (and that's not even the whole family)! I shared a caravan with four of my cousins (N, J, A and M), which was very very funny, though not much sleeping was had!
Highlights include:
- getting really really lost on the first evening when I went for a walk with the dog, having assured everyone I could find my way and would be back shortly for dinner
- looking at the bees that my aunt works with
- wearing the whole bee-keeping kit
- buying waaay too much at Trago Mills
- debating whether a statue of two elves showed them being happy or gay
- playing dares with N (who was 21 at the time) in a freezing cold swimming pool, where many of the dares involved going into the other, colder pool; we also nearly convinced her dad to walk through the painfully cold baby pool
- saving a starfish's life and burying a dead crab
- falling in love with all the shops in Totnes- the stuff there is so so nice!!
- going down to the beach with my cousins, and ending up paddling in the sea wearing tights (this is becoming a regular occurence)
- playing cards with my J (a professional magician- wrong move on our parts!), A and M, whilst consuming a weekend's supply of popcorn between us
- telling jokes very very late into the night
- going down to the beach early in the morning and climbing up this huge red rock/cliff thing, which we then slid down; also seeing this sign:
- going out for a meal and having an awkward turtle conference
- the weird toilets with padded doors to get in and slatted partially see-through doors on each stall
- falling asleep fully clothed on the sofa with N and A; M, the youngest, had the sense to go to bed
- doing some acrobalance
- going to Go Ape and realising just how freaking amazing zip wires are

I think that was it, pretty much... That's quite a lot, to be honest! And of course, a few selected pictures ^.^
