Number 19: House

House music is a genre that belongs to the category of electronic dance music. It became popular in Chicago during 1984, then spread to other major cities across USA and Europe. By the late 80s, it was present in the UK mainstream pop industry, and proved to be very successful, both in it's original form and as an influence on other genres.
The genre tends to use drum machines, samplers and synthesizers, alongside features such as 4/4 beats. It can be said that house music is a more electronic and minimalistic version of disco music.
I don't tend to like this genre; though that having been said, I like the middle song (Don't You Worry Child), which has been very popular recently.

Doctorin' The House- Coldcut

Don't You Worry Child- Swedish House Mafia

Rock The House- Afrojack
