18) Walk to Bath

We did it! We actually did it! Myself and three of my friends set off from Castle Park (Bristol), and walked aaaaall the way to Victoria Park (Bath). It was tiring, and our feet were sore by the end of it, but I'm super proud of us and very pleased that we did it- feeling incredibly accomplished! We did it as part of #2015in2015, so it was all for a good cause too! Pictures below are (in order), the beginning, the middle, and the end!

18th Birthday...

It's just over a week till my 18th birthday- exciting!! This is the time of year, for me, when people say 'what do you want?', and I jokingly reply 'world peace'. Well, this year I'm changing my answer. This year, I want better research into and treatment for mental illnesses. It's all I've ever wanted, really; it's the one thing I've wanted to change about the world, for as long as I can remember. However, this year I'm doing whatever I can to help us to get there- and I'm asking for your help. If you were planning on getting me a present/card for my birthday, then I've got a small ask for you. Instead of getting me something, I would much much rather you made a donation to my 2015in2015 campaign instead. It's not that I don't appreciate presents, of course I do. It's just, you see, there's really nothing I need- I've got my health and happiness, I've got love and friendship. Mental health research/treatments need funding, and if I can help give them that, then that's what I will do. If you weren't planning on getting me anything then that's totally cool, ignore this status! But if you were, please take a minute to check out www.justgiving.com/2015in2015, and make a donation- it doesn't matter how big or small, it just matters to me that you've made one. Thank you so so much, and I hope you have a beautiful day x

6) Spend a month being vegetarian

Officially ticked off the first thing on my list! From the 1st April to the 30th, I ate a purely veggie diet... It was hard work- I'm not the world's biggest meat eater, but I'm not too far off. It was especially difficult as I realised how much food has gelatin in (if it tastes good, it probably does) and the heat brought on a BBQ- so the girl who loves hamburgers and hot dogs had to have a veggie burger instead! However, I have discovered a new appreciation for cheese and chickpeas, so that's a bonus! Also, I'm not sure if I've mentioned it much on this blog, but the veggie month was part of my big year of fundraising- more info on that can be found here! :)

Picture Update!

I'm so sorry for my recent absence!! Life has been very busy, and quite a bit of a rollercoaster. Unfortunately for anyone who enjoyed reading this thing, I'm soon off to Gambia for two weeks- however, I will try to queue stuff!! I haven't really got the energy or time to write a proper post right now- so have some pictures of life, lately.

I went away with my friend CF, and we went to the real Pooh Stick Bridge!!

GS and I enjoyed becoming cats (more to come on this!).

There was good news, and there was bad news...

I found a pair of legs (more to come on this one too!)

I spent time walking around beautiful Bristol at night
