Depiction December: Day Thirty-One

I've enjoyed this; it's been nice to find pictures, and I'm looking forward to being able to flick through my month. However, it's quite time-consuming... Won't do it again next month, but it may return sometime.
Anyway, final picture! This is me (obviously) dressed as Titania for a theatre-themed new years eve party! :)

Depiction December: Day Thirty

Yayayayay, I got a ukulele ^.^ Very very happy!!!
Spent the day at my aunt's having a mini second Christmas, so also got some other lovely lovely stuff. This is a happy duck!!
One of my cousins was playing a guitar, and another a blue ukulele, so things have been a little noisy here, though very nice. I love my family sososo much <3 The only downside is that I have a small headache. I can neither confirm nor deny whether I drank any of the Malibu/coca cola that was around...

Depiction December: Day Twenty-Nine

I'm back in Bristol! Manchester was amaaazing, of course, but it is nice to be back. Plus- hopefully tomorrow- I'm getting a late Xmas present... A ukulele ^.^ Very excited!! :D
Today's picture is related to family; we got home and came straight to my aunt's house for a poker evening. The adults play poker, the kids do... well, nothing except prat around and laugh a lot. So far this evening, we've text the home phone, stood on stools, dropped biscuits and alcohol (blame my aunt and cousin!!), eaten a lot and made lots of senseless, stupid jokes. Basically everything I love :3 My younger cousin also found a pair of awesome specs- check them out!!! :D

Depiction December: Day Twenty-Eight

Went to an all you can eat today, where we all ate just that little bit too much- and some! Today's picture is a statue they had there; made completely out of biscuits, but unfortunately not edible.
This evening, myself and four of my family members (ages ranging from 6 to 50) played Cluedo, which got more and more heated as time went on. There were many accusations of cheating!
We then played a game aimed at the younger children. However, the older ones (possibly including me) still managed to get competitive, and the game ended in fish being snatched and thrown. I won though. We were going to play Risk, but it was too late, which was probably a good thing. My family and a game based on world domination?! Very risky. Badoomtss.
Anyway, last day in Manchester tomorrow :( It's flown by! Hoping we come back up during the year- 12 months is a long time to go without seeing people you're close to :(
Thankfully, we're seeing mum's side pf the family on Sunday and for new year, so there shouldn't be time to get too despondant about anything. Then next week will be largely revision based, though I need new shoes- my only pair of waterproof (ie, not canvas or similar) shoes broke today. In the rain.

Depiction December: Day Twenty-Seven

Today we went to an otter sanctuary, where I fell in love with the noses of giant otters. We also went for a walk (with a wee bit of geocaching!) where I took today's picture!
This evening my grandma's coming over for dinner (I'm at my aunt's house). Hopefully also watching Outnumbered Xmas special :)

Depiction December: Day Twenty-Six Part Two

Due to minor complications yesterday, our 'main' Christmas dinner was postponed until today- however, it's deliciousness was undiminished.
It's an all-hands-on-deck thing when it comes to family meals; though due to my history of dodgy cooking and accodent-proneness, I'm generally relegated to setting the table. Which I did, whilst singing loudly.
I know it's fairly tiny, but try to spot the deliberate mistake!!

Depiction December: Day Twenty-Six

Got up really early to hit the Christmas sales today; I now own a blue top and two books, one of which I've wanted for ages.
Then went on a very muddy, very wet walk- here's a picture of my jeans and socks afterwards, and then the steps I took to remedy the situation ;)

Depiction December: Day Twenty-Five

Two pictures again today!
Firstly, a christingle- an orange decorated with various things, to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas.
Secondly, some of my Christmas presents; I got a collection of DVDs that was 'slightly' diverse! ;)
Now, off to watch Dr Who with the family :)

Depiction December: Day Twenty-One

Hey, the world hasn't ended!! :D
My day had two amazing parts to it, so two pictures. I'll gove a rough explanation for now, and a more detailed one tomorrow in my account of the day ^.^
Picture one- we were meant to make a bridge out of marshmallows and spaghetti; we got bored and made the nativity scene. Hence, the Angel Gabriel.
Picture two- we had the annual swimming club splash night tonight, which was very fun. I got hold of my coach's Santa hat, and wore it throughout the night. Including whilst swimming and going down the flume! :D

Depiction December: Day Twenty

A crappy picture for such an amazing day... But I managed to find Yazoo, chocolate orange, coffee and jelly when we went out to get dinner pre-concert. Add to that the fruit pastilles I'd already consumed, and it's fair to say that I was fairly hyper for a while!!
(GG, the folk leader/music teacher/newly established singer, may possibly have banned us all a while back from buying coffee. But I think I forgot about that.)

Depiction December: Day Nineteen

Spent far, faaar too long trying to remember (and search) the name of this book!
I read it last year, and it was one of the main inspirations for my own novella; however, I forgot about it until today, when I could only remember basic plot and random details. Unfortunately, author and title were not included in my sketchy memories!
After much searching, I now know the relevant info; hoping to get it from the library this weekend, just in time for holiday reading!!

Depiction December: Day Sixteen

Helped out with a kids Xmas party today- I was involved in the food side of things. Then had the weekly swim teaching; the mum of the girl I teach told me that her daughter loves my lessons and is really progressing, which was really nice to hear :) Anyway, pic for today is my nails after using my lovely (new, Clothes Show) Rimmel nail varnish. I'm soo not a pink girl, but I needed a subtle nail varnish, so pink it was. I've realised that when I wear nail varnish I don't bite or pick at my nails. Therefore, it seems like a good idea to keep them permanently covered. Can't wait till they're long enough to actually look nice!!

Depiction December: Day Fifteen

Today I went to my French teacher's son's school (which is an entirely French school) with a friend from my French class to help out with a Christmas fair. It was very interesting (and quite French, obviously) though we didn't need to do much helping. Definitely a positive experience though!

Depiction December: Day Fourteen

About to go to my swimming club's Xmas party! Very excited; and, at least in my opinion, looking most unlike myself. A word of caution- I made one promise to dance to every cheesy song (including Gangnam Style and the Macarena) and another promise to wear my platforms. Therefore, this could end painfully...
