Been a big topic for me recently, and will continue to be for quite a while- when I go back to school, I'll be in Year 11- last year of school! Because of the new government stuffs, I have to stay in eductation for another year, but as I was always planning to do two years at sixth form followed (hopefully hopefully hopefully!) by uni, it doesn't really matter.
So, this year I'll have to think more seriously about what subjects I want to take at sixth form, and what I want to do when I'm older (scary stuff!!!!). At the moment, I think I want to teach Music/History/English at secondary, so it makes sense to take all of those at A level. However, I'm torn between Psychology (which I've wanted to do for ages) and French. In most ways, French would make a lot more sense, as it'll look better on my CV- and, seeing as I'm hoping to do a uni exchange, then travel the world and possibly not settle in England, knowing another language a lot better would probably be a good idea!
Also have to decide where I want to go for sixth form! I'd like to stay at my current school, but I'm still going to look around, as there are better places within a fairly okay distance of me.
So many decisions! Will keep you posted as I find out more, decide and finalise!
