Spent part of today looking through old pictures/Facebook stuff from this time last year. Hard to believe just how much has changed- and, at the same time, just how much hasn't!
A lot of the stuff I've got makes me laugh- many weird Facebook statuses that remind me of the stupid yet hilarious things that have happened. Then again, there's a lot hidden under those times that wasn't so good, which makes me a little sad. Bittersweet, I guess, is the word.
Now I'm trying not to concentrate too much on the past; there's too much living to do to be stuck in old events. This week I've got a CAMHS appointment and a Family Therapy session, both of which I'm quite nervous about. However, I'm also going into town twice (once for general shopping, the second time to try and get a Halloween outfit), then going to a fancy dress disco and- of course!- there's the Amy Macdonald concert!! Between those major events, there's plenty of revision, tidying,writing, learning to sign etc. etc. Keeping busy seems to be the key right now!
Speaking of busy, time to do a bit of tidying, get dressed (hooray for PJ days) and get to my volunteering job.
