Things I'll Miss (Some Of)

Right. I need to do another post in this series, and I need to distract myself. Let's kill two birds with one stone.
Recently we've been discussing the things we're going to miss about secondary school. My list?:
- Class groups/teachers who I will see either not at all or less next year. In two weeks time, there will be no more whole class French groups; no more English lessons spent with a class battle of wits; no more pointed jokes made by our Physics teacher; no more weird discussions in Physics...
- People who are leaving who have just become part of my life. This includes my 'partner-in-crime', W, who I walk to school with. I've spent the last four and a bit years walking to school with her. It's going to be really odd not having that routine- being able to leave at whatever time without having to wait for someone or apologise for being late or whatever. We've grown more distant over the past while, but we're still in a lot of lessons together and share loads of in-jokes etc. It'll take some getting used to her not being there! On the note of people leaving: the crazy Biology teacher who inspired the Makaton craze and who (inadvertently) leads Signing Thursday's is also leaving. Though she's only taught me this year, I will definitely miss her! She not only accepted our weirdness but joined in without asking questions.
- Tutor-time. When I went into my tutor in the start of Year Eight, I couldn't wait to leave it. Though I was with W, our tutor was my least favourite teacher, and at first I genuinely hated tutor times. However, he's definitely grown on me over the years! Both of our tutors are really nice people who will joke around with us, mostly taking the mick but also being nice (occasionally). I also really like 'our group' in the tutor: five Year 11s, two Year 9s and 3 Year 7s. We've had some very weird times, but it's been great! Especially going to miss the random debates and games of volleyball- our tutor-room is in the languages 'set', so they've put flags up, which become a perfect volleyball net. add to the mix whatever random object we can find to chuck around and you have a perfect game! ;)

I could go on for so much longer... But I should probably go get some sleep (I know it's early, I'm tired!). So g'night x
